Do REALTORS® Work Weekends?
Kaplan Real Estate Education
One of the best parts about being a real estate professional is getting to set your own schedule. The downside of that is, depending on what you do with your real estate license, you may need to set your schedule to include weekend work to accommodate your clients. Find out which real estate-related careers do not typically require you to work weekends, and get strategies for making weekend work more flexible to minimize conflicts with your personal life.
RECAP:
- You do not need to work weekends to be successful in real estate if you choose to work in a field like property management, business brokerage, or commercial real estate sales.
- If you choose to work in residential real estate sales, you will likely need to work weekends to be available when your clients are.
- Many successful agents work just one day per weekend to balance client service with their own personal lives.
