Florida Community Association Manager Requirements

Requirements to obtain a Community Association Manager License:
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Receive approval of your state application
  • Complete a state approved 16-hour course
  • Pass a state examination
  • You do not need to be a Florida resident
 

State Application and Testing Process

Requirements to Obtain a Broker’s License:
  • Complete the 16-hour Licensing Course
    • Completion slips are issued upon completion of the course. You must include your completion slip with your state application.
  • Fill out State Application
  • Submit Fingerprints
    • An applicant must have a background check as part of the licensing process.  You must submit your fingerprints using a Live Scan Provider.
  • Pass the State Exam
    • Before you can take the state exam, the state must approve your application for licensure.

    • The state exam is a 100-question multiple choice test with a passing score of 75%.
    • If you fail the exam, you may take the exam again upon submission of the reexamination application.
