Colorado State Licensing Requirements

To earn your first license, you’ll need to:

  • Complete the 168-hour licensing course and exam
  • Complete a fingerprint background check
  • Pass the Colorado Broker Licensing Exam
  • Find an Employing Broker and obtain Errors and Omissions (E&O) Insurance
  • Apply for your license through DORA
