The Kansas real estate license exam must be taken in person at a Pearson VUE test center.

There are state and national portions of the Kansas real estate exam, both with a scaled passing score of 70. Raw scores are converted into scaled scores that can range from 0 to 100.

There are 110 questions on the Kansas real estate exam. Of those, 80 questions are general and 30 are state specific.
If you’re a Kansas applicant who is already licensed in another state, you’ll need to complete the 30-hour Kansas Real Estate Practice course. After that, you can take the Kansas licensing exam and apply for licensure.
You need to complete 60 hours of salesperson prelicensing education courses to become a real estate agent in Kansas.
To obtain a real estate license in Kansas, you must be least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, show proof of completion of 60 hours of salesperson prelicensing education courses, pass the real estate salesperson licensing exam, affiliate with a sponsoring Kansas real estate broker, and apply for licensure.
