Minnesota Course 3 Package (30-Credit Hours)

Learn to Market and Sell a Listing Along with How to Successfully Manage a Sale Through Closing in Course III

Prerequisites: Course I and Course II

In Course III, you will learn to market and sell a listing, along with how to successfully manage a sale through critical steps that must be completed for the property to close. You will also learn the specifics required to sell condos or town homes and to lease residential property, along with the process for selling short sale and foreclosure real estate. Housing structure, condition, and styles are comprehensively explored to help lay a solid foundation for your career. In addition, our industry experts help you create a working business plan to successfully launch your real estate career.

After completing Course I, Course II, and Course III, and passing the Minnesota real estate exam, you will be ready to apply for your real estate salesperson license with your broker to the Minnesota Department of Commerce.

Proctored Final Exam: The Minnesota Department of Commerce requires a proctored final exam for your real estate licensing course. You will need to arrange for a proctor, who is someone who will make sure you take the test without outside assistance. Your real estate exam must be proctored by a disinterested third party (at least 18 years of age) with no financial or emotional interest in your passing the exam. Your supervisor, a subordinate, a family member, or a fellow student completing the same course may not serve as your exam proctor. If you are unable to secure a disinterested third party to proctor your final exam, Kaplan offers Virtual Classroom Proctoring for a $29 per-session fee.

This course has been approved by the Minnesota Department of Commerce for real estate prelicense education.
