You will get the facts you need to pass the Minnesota Real Estate Exam, as well as lay an important foundation to last your entire career. • Minnesota 30-Hour Salesperson Prelicense Online Video Course 1 (30-Credit Hours): This exam-focused 30-hour course is the first of three courses you need to successfully complete the 90-hour education requirement on your way to getting a Minnesota real estate salesperson license. Based on the industry’s most recognized publication, Modern Real Estate Practice, and decades of classroom experience, this comprehensive course not only prepares you for your licensing exam, but also lays a solid foundation for a career in real estate. You will learn the principles of real property law, ownership, and brokerage. From financing, appraisal and property management to federal fair housing laws, settlement math, and closing the transaction, we will cover it all.

• Proctored Final Exam: The Minnesota Department of Commerce requires a proctored final exam for your licensing course. You will need to arrange for a proctor, who is someone who will make sure you take the test without outside assistance. Your exam must be proctored by a disinterested third party (at least 18 years of age) with no financial or emotional interest in your passing the exam. Your supervisor, a subordinate, a family member, or a fellow student completing the same course may not serve as your exam proctor. If you are unable to secure a disinterested third party to proctor your final exam, Kaplan offers Virtual Classroom Proctoring for a $29 per-session fee.
