• 30-Hour Minnesota Pre-License Broker Online Video Course (30 Credit Hours): This broker course is designed to teach the information you need to pass the broker’s exam and also give you important information for your career as a broker. We take an in-depth look at all of the Minnesota real estate laws and regulations. you'll also learn critical information to keep you legal, including how to set up a trust account and how to follow the agency disclosure requirements. Minnesota requires you to complete the Broker Course within 12 months prior to licensure. Each applicant must have a minimum of three years’ experience.

This course has been approved by the Minnesota Department of Commerce for 30 hours of real estate continuing education credit.

• Proctored Final Exam: The Minnesota Department of Commerce requires a proctored final exam for your licensing course. You will need to arrange for a proctor, who is someone who will make sure you take the test without outside assistance. Your exam must be proctored by a disinterested third party (at least 18 years of age) with no financial or emotional interest in your passing the exam. Your supervisor, a subordinate, a family member, or a fellow student completing the same course may not serve as your exam proctor. If you are unable to secure a disinterested third party to proctor your final exam, Kaplan offers Virtual Classroom Proctoring for a $29 per-session fee.
