2024/2025 Texas Real Estate Commission Legal Update I - Salesperson

Mandatory Course

Effective January 1, 2020, all active salespersons and brokers not subject to Salesperson Apprentice Education (SAE) requirements are required to complete 18 hours of CE for an active license renewal. Four hours of this education must consist of Legal Update I. Additionally, salespersons under the SAE requirements must also complete four hours of Legal Update I as a part of their SAE requirements.

Required by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC), this 4-hour Texas real estate continuing education course has been updated to cover the latest topics impacting real estate licensees. It provides an in-depth review of TREC rules, updates, and legislative changes. This course will also include a refresher on promulgated contract forms and addenda, an introduction to fair housing, the fair housing do’s and don’ts, and more on property management. This course will refresh students and enlighten them on the topics listed and much more.
