- Proctored Final Exams: The Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission regulations require a proctored final exam for your real estate courses. You will need to arrange for the proctor, someone who will make sure you take the test without outside assistance. Your proctor must be a disinterested third party, not a relative or a friend. The proctoring process must be followed for each exam attempt. If you are unable to secure a disinterested third party to proctor your final exam, Kaplan offers Virtual Classroom Proctoring for a fee. The fee is $29 per proctoring session. You are only allowed one attempt per session.
